這并不是最壞的時(shí)代,我們穆斯林不應(yīng)當(dāng)過(guò)于消極,歷史上曾有過(guò)更糟糕的時(shí)代。這個(gè)時(shí)代的確有不好的方面,可這個(gè)時(shí)代最大的災(zāi)難之一,就是學(xué)者以及信仰的缺失。然而,就塵世的災(zāi)難而言,這個(gè)階段不值一提,若你讀讀歷史,這個(gè)階段真的什么都不是。
這個(gè)時(shí)代真正的災(zāi)難,是精神上的災(zāi)難,而非俗世的災(zāi)難。若我們真要因這個(gè)時(shí)代而哭泣,我們就應(yīng)當(dāng)為信仰及精神的缺失而哭泣。

These are not bad times. Muslims should not be so negative, there has been much worse times. There are aspects that are bad about this time and certainly one of the greatest calamities of the time is that we do not have a lot of people of knowledge any more and we do not have the levels of deen and things like this, but just in terms of outward dunya calamities, this period is nothing; if you read history, this period is nothing.
The real calamities of this age are spiritual calamities, they are not worldly calamities. So if we are going to weep over the calamities of this age we should be weeping about the lack of religion, about the lack of spirituality, etc.
